The NSS Department working form college establishment year. N.S.S. is social oriented activity is to give an extension dimension to the higher education system and orient the student to community service.
WHAT IS NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME?
NSS is a noble experiment in academic expansion.
It encapsulates the spirit of voluntary work among the students and the teachers to sustain community interaction.
It brings academic institutions closer to the society.
The NSS Department of College has 250 students strength. Prof. S.R. Pawade, Prof. A. U. Nerkar and Prof. Smt. K.K. Bhoye are working as NSS Coordinator in college unit.
Last two years NSS organize special camp of 7 days in Pratapgarh village its 3 KM from college. An average 80 volunteers was gated benefits of ordinance 163 from last five years. 30 volunteers was participated in various workshop organized by Savitribai Phule PuneUniversity and SRD/NRD pre selection camp in last five year.

Activities of NSS are divided into two major groups
•Special Camping Activities
NSS Students Volunteer
Any students enrolled as NSS volunteer should put in at least 120 hours of social work in a year for a continues periods of two year i.e. 240 hours in two years on various programmes run by NSS. Students require completing on special camp of 7 days in NSS adopted village in two year period. NSS volunteer get a certificate and 10 grace marks after completed two continuous years.
